As the Polytechnic counselling shedule has start from today 30 june 2012. students who want to sit for counselling they can sit on the official website given below. The three main choices of the candidates are Engineering, MBBS & Agriculture.

For Engineering, There are total  160 seats in GCET, Jammu, 360 in MIET, 360 in MBS while 480 in SSM Srinagar

For MBBS, there are 200 seats avialable with 100 seats at premier medical Institute of Jammu, Government Medical College and Hospital Bakshi Nagar and 99 in Government Medical College Srinagar.

Government Dental College Srinagar provides 50 seats for BDS course and Dental College Jammu has also an equal number of the seats.

In the same way, ASCOMOS (Batra), Jammu has 50 seats to be filled up through BOPE, while an equal number of them are under Management Quota.

Institute of Dental Sciences Trikuta Charitable Trust, Sehora Jammu has total intake capacity that is 40 through BOPEE and 60 as management seats.
If we talk about agricultural courses, SKUAST Jammu has intake capacity of 68 and SKUAST Kashmir provides 150 seats in various courses.

Process of JKCET Counselling 2012:

Online counselling of JKCET 2012 will start from first week of july. Candidates who scored good marks and elligilble for counselling they can sit for First Round online counselling first they have to lock their choice on the basis of their PCM and PCB ranks after few days result result will come those candidate who will not selected they can sit in Second Round online counselling.
